COMMUNITY

WHERE IT ALL COMES TOGETHER

Squamish is renowned for its world-class hiking, biking, and climbing. But it’s got so much more to offer than just adventure. Along with nature enthusiasts, there’s a vibrant community of entrepreneurs and creatives who contribute to the local arts, culture, and culinary scenes. It’s no wonder Squamish has earned the title of the fastest-growing city in B.C. for the past four years.

CONNECTED TO THE TOWN AND THE TRAILS

SEAandSKY is nestled between the Mamquam Blind Channel and Stawamus Chief Provincial Park. And with a pedestrian bridge underway that will link the community with downtown Squamish, it’s a unique combination of both space and pace.

JONNY AND JORDAN

Deciding they wanted a new adventure, one that combined outdoor experiences with a good community, the self-described city guys and their dog Ranger made the switch to Squamish. “Once you get here you will fall in love,” says Jonny, “…it is one of the best places on planet Earth.”

ADRIENNE, TAYLOR AND OSCAR

Giving their outdoorsy son more access to nature, as well as good schools, was the main reason the young family made their move. “We all love being close to nature,” says Adrienne, “Especially with a three-year-old… and a dog, it’s been really nice to have the space.”

RYAN

The New Zealand-born backpack designer for Arc’teryx came to SEAandSKY for the easy access to mountain biking, skiing and trail running but got so much more. “Having made a bunch of really close friends with my neighbours and being able to go out riding and grab beers—it’s been amazing having that community built in.”
